Esperanza Behavioral Health and Services in Orlando, Florida, provides high-quality, customized psychiatric care to patients of all ages in a nurturing, family-oriented environment. Founded and led by Fredesvinda Jacobs-Alvarez, MD, a board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist, the practice was established in 2006, to help patients create pathways to wellness, enabling them to obtain their full potential and lead healthy, fulfilling lives.

At Esperanza Behavioral Health and Services,

patients have access to innovative psychiatric treatment for mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and schizophrenia. The practice also helps children and adults with autism and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

In addition to psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and individual, group, and family psychotherapy, Esperanza Behavioral Health and Services offers innovative transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) treatments for depression. TMS is an FDA-approved alternative for patients who have not found relief through antidepressant medications.

New patients are welcome at Esperanza Behavioral Health and Services. Services are available in English and Spanish. The practice accepts most insurance plans, and appointments are available by calling the office or using the online scheduling tool.
